A strange little man helps a maid turn straw into gold. In exchange, she must give him her first born child, however, she will be able to recover her newborn if she is able to  guess the strange little man’s name.

 

The power of the name is a recurrent theme in classic fantasy stories. Naming the evil one supposes defeating him, according to the old beliefs.
