A newborn princess that falls under the terrible spell that seals her fate at the age of 15. Thanks to a kind fairy, her spell is altered so that she will sleep 100 years. As she turns 15, her fate is inevitable, she falls under the sleeping curse and is locked inside a castle. As time goes by, thorns cover the enchanted castle, where the princess is in deep slumber. The love of a handsome prince appears 100 years later. However, the story continues and the characters must face greater tragedies.

According to historians, it is a play that talks about love and self-knowledge. Also showing us that the original version, does not end with just a kiss of eternal love and a happily ever after.
